Not sure which section this belongs in, please move as needed.

I caught the new trailer for 'Night at the Museum 2' last night on TV and Darth Vader is one of the characters who comes to life in the Smithsonian.

I looked for the trailer online last night but couldn't find it, it might not be on the web yet.

I did notice it's an OT Vader suit, not a ROTS, I saw a silver cheek on the facemask.

If anyone finds the trailer or has any info on the suit, helmet, and other costume parts used I'd love to know what you find.

..caught that last night too..looks like it may be the LFL promo Vader, but can't tell from the clip..pretty funny clip as well...I really liked the first movie, so I guess I will have to go see this one now:lol

Rhythm and Hues is doing the effects ... I don't think they could pull off a full CG Vader. :lol
If anyone is really curious, I can ask a friend that works there.

Hmmmm, then you're gonna be surprised by the CG dinosaurs and Sleestaks we are doing for "Land of the Lost"............ :rolleyes

PS - and to the best of my knowledge, it was a suit and was all done on set.

THANKS ! I want to 20 different sites last night and couldn't find it anywhere.

I actually saw a different one where Vader is chocking a guy but that was funny too.

You're very welcome!

I'm not sure which tour Vader that is, the Target one is the same as the one on the Apprentice yes? This one appears to have a smooth inner dome (could be resolution playing tricks on me)...regardless, I'd take any OT tour Vader over the ROTS. :D

If its this Vader, the one from the Burger King commercials and the latter part of the Episode 3 promo stuff, Don Bies told me its a repainted OG OT helmet.

Interesting tread. Thanks for the link Vaderdarth. I think I have to go to the movie (just because of Vader):lol

No offense meant, man. I just never heard anything but complaints from him about the quality of the work. My eye really isn't trained to judge.
