I had a friend over earlier tonight to help me photograph some non-prop stuff. He is a much better photographer than I am and his equipment is much better as well.

When we were done, just for fun he took a couple pics of my ANH and ESB Vaders. I thought his pics were pretty cool and thought they were worth posting.
The full size versions of these pics are so big, that you can actually see the dust particles on the helmet (both displays are pretty dusty at the moment).

Let me know what you think.

No need to even think about the "concert-Vader", none of the parts were actually screeused, production made or tour items!
In my and Michael aka ManfromNaboo´s opinion all parts were cobbled together FANMADE items.

I´m sure many have made pics of this "beast" :lol

If the Vader you saw was the same one I saw in London, then I believe it's not actually fan-made, but one of the promos than Don Bies and his wife built.

I'm basing that on the 'DNA Productions' tag inside one of the gloves.

Do you have pics of this particular Vader? I don't remember seeing one at SWIC.

I sure do Gino. Here are a few pics of the Vader costume on display at the SWIC in New Orleans. Looks like a ROTJ. Sorry they are kinda crappy. The plastic tube made it difficult to get a clear shot. And I am far from a professional photographer. LOL!

Add a little more grain and scratches and it looks like on set...

Truly amazing... I am about to recieve the 1:1 Sideshow Vader bust and was thinking abut making a lifesize full body with it. I hope you dont mind but Im going to use your hotos to help.. the project is a year away as I dont want to start in an apartment.. rather wait till we get our house... but these pics just get me really amped up for the project.. In you opinion.. where is the best places to get pieces... body suit and such.
