This is just a post to show the 3D models I have made and the props soon to be finished. I've had various pieces printed to test the materials, but I have my first whole prop pieces on their way today!

I got some items printed. I'm painting them with testors metallics. Anyone else have suggestions for painting 3d prints?

Painted the props with testors paints. I'm pretty happy with the results, however the geometric peacock brooch isn't ideal. I have new print of it in a more detailed plastic and I think it needs to be molded and cast so I don't have to paint the tiny details.

Thanks! The necklace is printed and I'm painting it now. I did model the headdress in 3D, but the costs to print it in the spiral orientation proved to be less than affordable, so I'm going to print out flat sections of the trim and mold and cast them in a flexible resin.
