Dark Magic bites the dust

My Dark Magic bit the dust. I let my kids watch Highlander 3 and then showed them my Dark Magic sword. They thought it was the coolest thing in the world, as any 7 and 9 year old would. I left it in my room and went to play some Black Ops. They saw the scene in H3 were Connor is cutting fruit in the cave. So of coarse they get some apples and decide to do the same. I finished playing, walked into the family room, there were apple pieces everywhere. A whole bag. Sitting on the couch was the dm in pieces and no boys. I was really mad at them, as I know that getting another one would almost be impossible. Then I realized how lucky I am that they didn't get hurt. I just wish I had a magic camera to go back in time to watch them cutting the apples and the look on their faces when it broke. It took me awhile to find them, they had never been so quiet and scared in their life. They said they would save their money and get me a new one at the mall. It's funny now, but two weeks ago I was ready to behead them. So anyway here's some pictures of what one looks like apart. Its half tang, no rat tail. I would have thought it would have broke at the end of the tang, but it broke above it. :cry

I believe there are a few making more accurate and definitly more durable versions out there. Check around.

If i was you, I would glue it back together, maybe use some clay to fix the cracks or tiny details and then make a mold of it and cast it again in black resin.

Looks like if you have all the pieces in the picture that you should be able to piece it back together?

They claim their not gulity, that it was an accident. I say their "GUILTY", but forgiven.

Zeist Armories owns the copyright to the Dark Magic now with the blessing of the original artist Jose de Braga. Actually Jose has been working on refining the design and it is currently on our list of things to do when we get done with the Eli blades, hopefully in the next month or so. Working with Jose has been a dream, and we have a few other custom creations of his coming as well in the next few months.

You may luck out and find another on ebay but they are hard to come by. One pops up about every 8-12 months. Anyone else producing them would be infringing on the copyright which is bad mojo lol.
