Dark Knight Rises

I like the idea that he tried to quit and they pulled him right back in

Right back in is fine-- just not 8 damn years later! :cool

I'm sure he's been going out on a nightly basis (I mean come on, this is BATMAN)- the only difference is that now he's an outlaw (which is great by me). Besides, he didn't build his Batcave overnight-- he's got to be Batman- this is just 8 years later, period.

As for the lack of new outfit, it's definitely a valid point, but I feel like he's had tons of costumes in the comics simply because of different artists, and 'what's cool' for the time being, you know? I feel like even in the comics, his suit has pretty much been 'the same suit' (excluding the identical spares). Does this make sense to anyone?

A person doesn't say "The Batman must come back" if he never left.

What if he means the Batman must come back "into the public eye"? I can see it being like in the comics... His existence is a superstition. If he is out there, he's a wanted man. But there is no proof that "The Batman" still exists. I hope it goes something like that.

I mean... Why else would he have a Batcave now?

Personal opinion: Bane turns up, beats batman in current time (possibly breaks his back) Batman then leaves for 8 years to recouporate/ train, then returns to take on Bane with the rest of gotham standing up to his thugs. I know its a bit far fetched but could be possible!

Bane is not getting through Randy Marsh.

According to AICN, you can hardly understand Bane when he speaks. I sure hope what they saw is enhanced or given a voice over treatment before next July.

There is a reason he is garbled and difficult to understand but without knowing whats being shown, it may or may not makes sense just yet. But when you see why, light bulbs will go off.

Even with him hard to understand, all the critics who saw the segment said the movie looks bad@ss :cool

They've also said that the audio mix isn't final, and that things will be done to clarify Hardy's voice.
