Heard The Dark Knight Rises is on track to beating Avengers for opening weekend sales, and it still has about 20 days left to promote.
 
I can imagine it happening, I was stoked for The Avengers, but I can't believe how excited I am for The Dark Knight Rises.

In the local cinema they have life size cut outs of Batman & Bane, already asked if I can have them when their done with them.

I can't wait to see how the end it too! I kind of hope that they have Bane break Batman or that they leave it open for someone else to carry on the story without having to do another reboot.

I helped add to the opening total today, got my wife and I tickets to the Dark Knight marathon at the Abingdon Cinemall. BB at 6:15, followed by TDK at 9:00, then TDKR at 12:01. Can't wait. :)

good luck. lot of people used to do that over here, and ask for some of the really cool posters etc ~ then the studios started getting p155y and the cinnies had to account for them all and hand them back. parently the studio were getting peeved at people flogging them on ebay and the like.

Yeah, when I went in originally they said they "couldn't see a problem why not" but they'd have to check with the manager. When I went in yesterday the manager told me they had to destroy them once they'd finished with them. Seems like a complete waste to me.
 
not to be sexist but i hope a good portion of that running time if following Catty as she walks to that batpod. what a *fabulous* hourglass. worthy of an iMax presentation all by itself. i hope they start about two miles away.
 
The official synopsis:

“It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of DA Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good.

“For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act.

“But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.”
