Dark knight Joker money pile - how was it done?

It's always interested me in how long it would have taken the prop masters to stack the money pile that Joker burns in TDK. Was there a structure built around it except for the part when Heath slides down it?

If it was all prop cash then that must have taken ages!!

Thats a great question. I figured they had structure that they piled cash on. It not only saves a lot of prop bills but also if it was just prop money, there would be some serious safety issues with collapse. But I really don’t know for sure
