The test fit looks ok. Of course, needs some adjusting and repainting. I didn't think I could pull it off. Ha, a bad bun, as if I couldn't pull the PredAlien head off.

I'm a novice at this stuff. I am very sure you could do the same. Use a hair dryer and soften everything up with heat before cutting. Work slowly, heat it up as hot as you can handle, in some cases, just rubbing it so will make the skin just pulls off. Phillips head screwdriver. After I got the neck/head skin and head off, I immersed the head in really hot water and slowly peeled off the scalp. You can see by the pictures what you are up against. Rub the inside dread plugs, use the blow dryer again and gently, slowly pull them out. I used a sprue piece to help push it from the inside out, while pulling from the outside. I held the blow dryer on it with my teeth. I really could use a third hand sometimes.

I don't know if I'll be able to paint/assemble it properly, but wanted to share the disassembly info/pictures.

brilliant.
Have you any idea how you are going to secure the queens head to the rest of the predaliens yet ?. I think thats where I would be stuck.
Get as many pics of this as you can up please. I'm very interested in making a custom queen predalien now .

Aw, shucks, I'm just this dumb Jarhead, not brilliant. I just hated the dreads and shape of the back of the head. I also disliked the clear dome. I prefer mystery, not knowing all the inner parts.

The attachment will be something I've got to look at, take more pictures of and decide of the best method that allows her mobility. The inside of the HT PredAlien is a ball. I'll post more pictures tomorrow showing the inner parts of both heads/parts. I'm a bit tired and am going to hit the rack.

Getting McFarlane Movie Maniacs Series 6 Boxed set Alien Queens is going to be tough. I was lucky and got this one on EBAY for $17 + shipping.

Painting, that will be tough too. There is the rubbery skin, the hard plastic parts. I know enough to know that acrylics must be used, but it's the soft rubbery parts that I have no experience in painting. Will it flake? Will it even stick & dry?

I do plan to use the Predator mandibles with it.

I'm not going to have the mouth open or inner mouth piece added. That's way above my basic skill level.

I am making a customized PredAlien skull for the trophy wall. Kneadite and the cosbaby Alien being used. The Alien 3 fetus is a new acquisition. It came broken at the base/fetus/peg. I glued it with super glue & accelerator, but you can see the crack in the fetus. The paint was also chipped/rubbed off in a spot. I just can't seem to get anything in the mail that is pre-built/painted in the mail without damage. It is disappointing and frustrating.

Done. Painted the teeth Tamiya Chrome Silver. I felt compelled to "battle damage" the PredAlien skull. Cosbaby Alien lower face, new sculpted dome, dreads removed.

That's one serious operation you've got going on.
Your mind works overtime.
You realy though out of the box.
AWESOME work!

I will add some "realistic" crack/joints on the PredAliens head. It looks a bit too smooth. I'm not a sculptor though.

Thanks for the compliments.

Outstanding details! You're not a sculpter, huh? You may not think so,
but I don't know that I can sculpt on that scale with that amount of detail!
Kudos!

Battle damage is easy, a drill, razor blade, screw driver, even a butane torch was used. Thanks for the complement, but you give what I did too much credit. I even smacked the head on the concrete. My intent was to make it look like it was a hard won "trophy."
