Trouble is when you start looking closely, the ship changes, so which one it it?

The more rectangular early version or the more curved later one?

It's the same issue I ran into when making the fort. The early one is much cleaner! I'm assuming you have the Dan Dare books to hand?

Yes, I noticed the fort changed, the shape was more blocky with larger front bow pieces.

I have all the early 2000AD issues. I went through to about issue 120 and it was the early version.

Think I prefer the later version, bit more sexy looking, if you can say that about a spacecraft...

Of course you can. I say it all the time. My wife just looks at me- then continues playing Warcraft...

Panel lines drawn on and three coats of flat laquer applied. Apart from a few minor details-antenna and such, that's her done. Just to design the stand. Then it's a trip to my local lasercutter.
