Been hanging around here for just a little while, I started reading the forums and started watching YouTube. I'm a Mac User so it took me a while to find someone that would convert my file into PDF. I'm about this far on a Daft Punk helmet. Any protips out there?

Pictures attached.

Alright man. First off, let me say good job on the pep. Looks really clean. But, those ears. Something seems off with those. I would suggest removing them until you get the base part of the helmet where you want, and working on the ear pieces separately. Perhaps build a new set? Looks like the bondo is curing as you are still spreading it. I would say sand the whole thing down with 80 or 100 grit to level it all, and re apply some bondo but using less hardener. It will allow a longer curing time and could help you spread it a little smoother. Just a few thoughts. Don't give up!

Thanks for the tips. Yeah I noticed when I put it on tonight that one of my ears is off. Should have definitely done them separately. I'll try to figure out if I can remove these ears at this point. I may be able to. I saw a couple people just use the bottom half of a coke can for this design. Thanks for the comments on a little less hardener and the idea about sanding down. I'll definitely try it.

Updates and how it ended up. For my first time making anything I don't think it's that bad. The Tron Legacy Encore Helmet is done. Now what's next?
