DAFT PUNK Helmet Guy Manuel ( THX Volpin )

I do not remember what I paid APOXIE, however I cover in the USA, and does not cost much, so do not pay any tax.

Unfortunatelly I have no intention to travel there right now so I'll have to import it :unsure

Anyway, thanks for the info.

EDIT: I finally found it on my country so the shipping taxes will be low.

We briefly summarize the latter stages of processing:
I have rebuilt from scratch all PCB lights, the chassis of the lights, well why did not enter into the helmet and hid the lights on the chin, and finally, after all mounted in the helmet, with some difficulty, I have everything covered with PVC , and I did a little padding to comfortably wear a helmet.
So after 15 months of hard work, I completed my helmet, Guy Manuel De Homen Christo!

Great work ArtFunk, it's amazing how nice it looks, I envy you :p

I like the "ear control" idea, maybe a little risky if you're rounded by lots of people (you know how unpolite are some guys out there)

Was it hard to program the light sequence with the arduino?

It is not clear that controls the lights, then I should not take any chances, I hope!
Programming dell'arduino, has given me Volpin, so it was easy to program, eheh.

Some photos for fun.
The video games are the original 80s, but with photoshop I added the logo of the TRON.

This is version 2.0 of Guy Manuel helmet, it differs in the light, where I improved the diffusion of light, using pieces of foam, colored gels and, for the bars, while the chin instead of using stickers depicting the grid LEDs, I used 39 LEDs per side rectangular, as in the original helmet. I could not reproduce the original sequence because it would require changes to the system too complex, but I think the result is still good.
