A couple of months ago when I saw some video of this years "Power of the Force" Convention in Cologne I was beginning to think how to upgrade my "Star Wars" bound outfit.
First thing that came to my mind was headgear and I wanted to go for an in-universe look rather than to copy an already existing design.
During my research the helmets of aircraft carrier deckcrews caught my eye.
Most of the offers of real helmets were pretty expensive, but after a while a was able to grab a (allegedly screen used) Tenet Helmet.
(If it really was one I hope you forgive me for destroying an actual prop.)
I cleaned and spraypainted it white. And I installed black grills so that I could hear at least something with the ear protectors on.
After that some decals were added. Most of them are the usual offers (Wedge Antilles helmet e.g.), the writing on the cups of the protectors was done by me copying some patterns from Galaxy's edge.
Finally it was weathered, clearcoated and a microphone was mounted.
The motorcycle glasses are the same style and probably brand as the ones used by the gunslinger (Toro Calican) in Mandalorian.
