I've had the idea to make a Flash suit for quite a while, and I was originally going to do the CW Flash, but ran into the issue of me not being able to replicate it to the degree I'd like. Instead I have decided to come up with my own Flash suit design taking a large inspiration from the comics, and the CW show. Here's a pic of my initial sketch.
After that thought a bit more in depth of the vision I had for the suit. My main goal for this is to achieve a good comic style suit thats recognizable as comic style, but also has a cool new feel. I really wanna try blending lots of materials too.
As of right now haven't decided on a Cowl, or the whole bottom half lol, I've have been more focused on the torso.
I plan for the shoulder pads, and chest pad to be a vinyl or leather looking material, with the main body suit being just a normal red zentai. For the ab,side,and inside elbow pieces, I would like to do a fabric that I can puff paint or texturize somehow, and then sew on. As for the logo I like the CW's 3D emblem so I want to try and do that look, but my only problem is I can't find just the lightning bolt, I don't want the outer gold ring for this suit but I don't think you can find one without the other. Here's a look of what I kind of want the color scheme to be, with the exception of all the yellow pieces being gold with the finished product.
