Creepy Truth About "Glee"

Most of the chicks 24 years old and Finn and and Puck are 28

And Rachel is way hotter in real life

PS: Yes this show is a guilty please for me

I was at a pub Friday night, and the band ended the night with 'Don't stop believing', for a brief moment I thought the reason it was so well received was maybe due to fond memories of the 80s or perhaps a broader musical awareness than I attribute to the usual 20-30-something pub goer. Then I remembered the song was used in Glee and felt depressed.

I tried to like Glee. Really, I did. But...

If I ever have a time machine I'm going to go back in time with a fire-axe and take it to the computers of the dev team behind 'Auto-Tune'. I find listening to the music from that show painful given how pitch-corrected and glossed it sounds. There are occasional moments of genuine talent out of the people in it but too often it's just candy coated banal covers.

I don't see how anyone can watch a show like that. The music sounds about as good as what they have on those Kids Bop commercials.

I'm pretty sure next week's episode would give about half of this forum a collective aneurysm.

But I can't wait!

Not exactly a new thing - Almost all shows with high school "Kids" in them outside of anything on Nickelodeon are always mid-twenty's actors.

Hah, just watched the first ep. and found a great quote in it :

Terry:"Dr. Phil said that people could change. You know, it´s not a bad thing to want a real life, Will... AAAND TO HAVE A GLUE GUN THAT WORKS!!!" :lol:lol:lol

Oh, I hear ya, I hear ya...

And DANG do I have a thang for red heads...

My name is Rachel Berry. As soon as that show started I got so many texts telling me that the one female charactor on the show shares my name!

My daughter is in her high school chorus so we watch the show. We love the way they do the songs. I like hearing songs done a different way.... and MAN can the cast sing.

Im not 13 nor female so I dont watch. I did synch the carbs on one of my bikes last night though....sober!

I got hooked on Glee a while back when my Wife picked up the DVD. Really didn't think I was gonna like it, but it's actually awesome! I tune in each week. Entertaining and funny! Sue Sylvester rocks! Love how she puts everyone down, hahaha!

The songs are actually well arranged and the cast are really good singers. I think it was also the first time I thoroughly enjoyed a remake of "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey. Surprisingly think the Glee rendition is more energetic.

Anyway the music and show is great. Good mix of people.

I thought most of the first half of the season was really solid storytelling, but the last few episodes I've watched have not been up to snuff. I'm wondering what's going on.

My thoughts exactly. The build-up to the regionals and the character interactions and conflicts were way more intense than in the last few eps. And Joss Whedon directing did not help either. It´s also probably the heavy focus on the supporting cast. It looks like each character got his/her own episode, which felt quite like filler from time to time.
