Hey Guys,

Here's a few pieces I sculpted 'a long time ago in a galax....' and so on ;)

The finish on these are pretty decent coming from China.

Dang. :) These are great sculpts Howard. Your work is always amazing.. That Ackbar looks like it is a very large piece. Is that a 1:1 piece? Beautiful paintjobs for being the final production piece.

They look good. :thumbsup

I'd be a little worried about (what looks like a top heavy) Ackbar being tippy that tiny base, does it stand up alright?

I want to get 2 of those Gammorean Guards and have them displayed on both sides of the door that leads to my prop room!

Cool stuff!

Thanks guys!

It's a TRAP!!

Those are damned fine bits of work, Howard. Are those 1 to 1 scale?

Yes, they are 1:1 and very LARGE!

those are great. As the sculptor do they send you one of everything finished ?

No, they do not :(

When are you going to finish that 1:1 Jar Jar?

That is a VERY top secret project Bob!

A fine job you did and yes they did come back nice. When I worked at Mcfarlane Toys we would comment on how the toys came back looking different than what we sent to China. :rolleyes

It is crazy... it's always off in some way... could be good or bad, you never know?

They look good. :thumbsup

I actually set up the prototype for this and made sure it was centered weight wise, so it will not tip over it's balanced nicely.

Now that would be cool!

Holy crap! This forum is awesome! I can't believe I'm chatting with artists that create such great work!

I'm a huge fan of the McFarlane figures. From '97 to 2003' I was buying almost everything...just amazing work.

Here's a quick question... what type of material/clay do you use to create these sculptures? I've only used super sculpey.
