Correct color for the purple ribbon in the Shawshank Redemption Bible

I got a nice copy of the correct Shawshank Redemption Bible. The one with the purple ribbon (I know there is also a copy with a black ribbon used in the movie). But the ribbon in my book was so worn out that it broke off. I'm now trying to find the correct color for a replacement ribbon (the ribbon is 9mm wide). I already bought the colors aubergine and purple online, but the color is not the exact one as the original ribbon. Does someone know where I could find the exact color ribbon to replace the original one?

Not really. I have the old ribbon of my bible, so I know exactly how it should look like. Problem is that I don't know where to get that exact same color... I bought two colors online that looked close in the pictures, but still were a bit off: Purple and Aubergine (= egg plant in Dutch).

As an update, with proof, they were ALL purple. Depending on age, lighting, and the moment, they look incredibly different in person (ignoring camera). I have three in front of me, I see a near-black blue, an obvious purple, and a washed-out wine.

I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure now. My newest looked black when it showed up, until I brought it into the shop. Anyways, food for thought.
