I am putting together a Coraline Costume for my wife and I am looking for the hat that she wears in the film. Can anyone help ID the hat and the pin on the front?

Re: Coraline Military Hat ID help

Since it's a made-up hat, I doubt you will find anything exact, but to me, it looks closest to a Greek fisherman's cap except with a shiny brim - so I think the costume chauffeur cap you found is very close for an off-the-shelf item.

The pin appears to be a takeoff of a British Artillery cap badge. A flaming grenade. Or something similar. Again, being a made up puppett hat, it's nott likely going to be an exact of something, more of a close proximity.

Ooh thanks. I found a good pair of Wybies gloves

anyone else?

^I was thinking about that, seems pretty simple in design.

I am not entirely convinced that the hat is 'made-up'. I have notived that there are 'props' in the film based off a real world design.

One good example is Bobinsky's medal. While it could easily have been fictional, it is in fact a real Medal.

If I am not mistaken, Althea Crome only made the Star Sweater and Gloves, not the hat.
