Coolworld: Sparks Wooden Nickels

While waiting on parts for the Tank Girl Dangerballs I'm starting on another project I've had in mind.

I always heard of "Wooden Nickels" and as a kid, but didn't really know what it meant (pre internet days.)
Watching Coolworld, I loved the scene where Sparks tossed wooden nickels to the toon kids who then were attacked by them.
I've decided to recreate those nickels; just started today, so got a bit to work on. Will stretch the sides of the face to match the coin better.

Dude that is rad. I'm loving all of the awesome obscure movie props. I loved tank girl and coolworld was an absolute classic respect

Another little update; I'll add some roughness to the center circle later.

Oh- I should mention when I make these I'll be using the method that allows them to be painted with a wood clearcoat to make them look like real wood!

Final version before I get it printed!
These will be 1.2 inches, roughly the size of a half dollar and appropriate in a real world comparison to the size of the coins in the show!

OK guys, got another update for you! I got the molds done and am waiting for the pecan flour so they can be stained!
And I'm workin on that snaggletooth. (Undercuts- bah! )

Well crap, I just realized this isn't the junkyard thread I thought I was posting in... and it appears the one that was in it was killed off instead of being moved.
