I do too. I havent sit through a full SNL episode for almost over a decade...If he hosts, I would definitely sit through it

my favorite part is the fake news and the ending ..."friends" haha

That's great. If you are a Cookie Monster or SS fan in general check out the episode of Cake Boss where they make a cake for the show. CM is classic in that one.

I've sat through nearly every episode live for just about 19 years (Yay parents letting really young kids stay up) and have been to see it live twice! The televised experience in no way compares to seeing it live.

I really want Cookie to host (Though it might cause flashbacks to the first season's Muppet piece "The Land of Gorch" *shudder*) and if he did you can bet I'd do my damndest to see it in person, because just having the chance to see the added craziness a puppet would bring would make my inner (and outer) child smile!

Yikes...you are one dedicated fan haha...I grew up watching Johnny Carson, David Letterman, and SNL with my mom..Not really into the new cast and crew...stop watching snl around the mid 90s

Yeah, even if I wanted to get away from it, I can't. It's like a drug. I even moderate the SNL message boards for NBC.

There was a similar movement to this at the moment to get Buddy the Elf to host the Christmas show, but if I'm being honest, I'd much rather see Cookie Monster. I just think he's a better character that you can take in more directions.

...Plus the costumes are smaller, so they'd be faster to make.
