Hi guys!
So I'm hoping to harvest your collective brain power. I'm gearing up to do a 42"scratch build of the 2001 Pan Am Clipper and want to start with an armature like this (not mine, pulled from another forum post a story an example) with a side-profile centre spine and contoured ribs to fill out the shape:
However ... I'm at loss as to how I could accurately create the correct curves in these ribs to get the overall shape. I've seen people do it by using a side and top view on a blueprint, but how do you get the curves?! Whenever I try, the ribs always come out different every time. If anyone has any ideas I'd love your input ...
