Not a biggie, I was using the web client and it is a bit fickle. I setup a normal client so I can manage the entries better.

This is great... but as soon as the voting thread is established we need to put the link underneath it!
I can not WAIT to see all these... Oh... and my pics were off a bit ago... hehe... down to the wire and all. I'm thinking with this number of entries... its going to be more than one day before we see the voting thread. Which is fine... I am just so excited.
A big kudos to everyone who has participated here and made this such a fun environment... lots of great competition spirit here.

I cant wait to see everyone's driver and I will be voting honestly even though I am participating, so if I see one that is amazing then I will vote for it even though it will go against me.

I don't care if I don't get any votes, I LOVE my sonic. I'm absolutely amazed I made one that looks so nice (my opinion, haha). I'll definitely be using it for a flashlight, that's for sure. The LED is super bright and it just fits in the hand so nicely. Sorry, I just had to get that out. Can't wait to see all the others!

I feel the same way, Risu. Like I said, though I'm overall pleased with the design, except for the doodads, I may attempt a Version 2.0 for mine just for the fun of it.
And I am also eager to see the other sonic screwdrivers in this contest. Though I know mine is probably not the best looking, I'd love to see everyone elses nonetheless.

All I want to change on mine is put the sound back in and add holes for it to escape, replace the handle with a new one that's been machined properly (I made a couple mistakes on this first one) and make the light even brighter and preferably green. (anybody know where to get a flashlight-level-brightness green LED?
