I'm finally getting to finish up a batch of Kermits. Here's some progress shots. I couldn't find a good pattern online, so I fudged through and made my own.

More shots as I go along.

I'm actually fudging along with my own pattern. I'll have to commit it to paper when I'm done.

I think they'll look okay for youtube.

Nice! I've been wanting to make a Kermit for a while now. Any chance you'll share some tips, tricks, and ideas?

I'm not sure I'm the guy you want to share stuff with in regards to making muppets. I know that the material I'm using isn't right. I needed to buy some ANTRON fleece, not Polar Fleece.

With that said, the seams on my kermits are going to show whether I want them to or not.

This is also My pattern, and probably not nearly as accurate as it should be. There's also the issue of this being a puppet, not a static poseable doll.

I did however make a mold to cast up the eyes, and in that regard I'm ahead of the game.

Not sure. Making puppets is not my forte. I'm only doing this for a short film, so it doesn't need to be 100 percent perfect. Youtube thank God is very forgiving.

The guy everyone should talk to about making puppets is SPCGlider@AOL.COM.

He is a Puppet making Genius.

Kermit is one of my favorite characters of all time. I've never even thought about making one my self. That is great. looks very nice.

I figured out that I made the mouth too pointy, so I had to unglue the fleece, trim down the mouths, and then re-attach. It's looking like I'll be making 6 new heads, which sucks.

Awww Thanks. It looks pretty good on the Kermit head I made last night. I think it's going to be a pretty funny video when I'm done.

I might be making a Fozzy, and Gonzo as well for the video, I haven't decided yet.
