Get the Sideshow.. Its more expensive, but it is more accurate and you can keep the eyes lit constantly where there HCG will only stay on for about 8 seconds with sound effects

I'm not sure it the Sideshow one is more accurate. Definetly more sinister looking but not more accurate. But I could be wrong :unsure
You are right on about the eyes. You would have thought the HCG version would have had that option.

Just a note for the sideshow skulls...

You can replace the center battery with a dummy battery or just rolled up foil to complete the circuit, this reduces the blindingly bright eyes down to a far more preferred level.
