You can use mdldecompiler (which may or may not work with the latest Source engine model version, I don't follow Gmod so I don't know what version they're on) to decompile the model into an smd. Most modeling suites will have an smd importer.
I'll look into it. I wish they didn't make you buy garry's mod to download the free models. They have models of a ton of metroid suits. Yep i'm cheap lol.
Save your money, all of the ones you're looking at are fairly low poly. Not to mention extremely disproportionate. If you don't own Gmod you can try asking on the Facepunch forums to see if anyone can provide the models.
yeah i was poking around on there. I found a nice one on etsy but it's pricey but is in scale with her game proportions (which is okay as i don't plan to wear it). i need to stop being a chicken and fire up blender and learn to do 3d work. I have a few files that are low poly i got to work with too once i figure out how to turn them to pdo files.
I've found a few other low poly models to look at when i get a chance. yeah that one on etsy is nice but you have to sand the crap out of it to get everything even and round. I'm going to poke around now and then for other files. knowing my attention span i'll see something else to catch my eye until i come back around to these lol.
