Conan related Valeria sword progress

Recently I made a Dar sword from Beastmaster and had gotten 2 of the same sword in case I screwed up, well I didnt so with the extra sword I started work on Valerias sword.
Here is that chronicle
The base sword is obviously the same.
Step one was to draw the short curved blade and remove anything that was not Vals sword
next was to tig on the parrying guards that are unique to her sword.
The next step will be to carve the wax masters for the pommel and guard, which will be poured in bronze.
Here are the pics so far... Mind you there is a lot of buffing and blending to be done.

I am a big fan of the stuff I see you post on the highlander forum.
The blade is some sort of stainless, not usable But it was free and I believe it will be pretty once completed.

Definitely not usable, even if it were made of quality spring steel there's still the matter or the rat-tail tang which would cause the blade to snap at the hilt if you were do anything more than just it around in the air.

A new tang will be welded on. But even so there are very few followers of Sett round these parts that require vanquishing.

True but why bother with a functioning blade, as I believe was requested by your client, if it doesn't have a proper sized tang to go with it.

Btw carved the pommel on some stills but cannot find decent pics of the hilt and do not wanna copy the marto version, any help?
