I want to get into molding some of my scratchbuild props and possibly look at doing some runs, however I live in a townhouse with no garage or shop available and crappy Southern Alberta weather. A friend found this online. Says non toxic, fast curing, and reusable.....Has any one worked with it before?

I bought some and tried casting and molding some things for wildabeast and so far they have turned out pretty good although I am a bit of a newbie when it comes to this type of thing.

I know these are not very good but this is the first cast I have ever done and given the inexperience they turned out fairly good. I then took the mold and popped it back in the microwave, melted it and cast something else. The resin is a two part urethane resin I bought from the same place. It is an ice tea looking color when mixed that cures off white. Its pretty durable. I mixed too much when I cast the head and the leftovers solidified into a block about the size of a hotel bar of soap and neither wildabeast nor I can break it with our hands and neither one of us are weaklings. I drilled out the head and it drills fairly easily.

I may have to look into this, especially if you can melt it back down to reuse it. i book marked their site for sure. Even if it costs a bit more than the normal stuff if i just want to do a one off of something i made this is perfect.

Has anyone made any more progress with this? I was thinking of using this on a larger project where I needed to make a number of large molds but only needed a few castings from each then never to be used again.
