Has anyone else got a material that they can no longer get or would be too expensive to replace.

So, my garlic salad dressing from Sandpiper Inn might not fit the list but I did drive 400 miles to the last known location in Pocatello, Idaho and purchased a gallon, so I think it is a valid addition just out of how well it fits the thread title.

Oh yes, agreed. The first 100 miles was beloved forest and then, well, it is the "badlands"for a reason. On a scale from 1 to 10 you suddenly realize that certain places are not on the scale. They legitimately fit in the 0 to 1 scale, using decimals.

I had the pleasure of being assigned to a nuclear prototype in Idaho Falls.

The only thing I remember about the area: There was a sandwich shop, I think, that had WW2 aviation art on the wall. :D

I've got several cans of spray paint that are from my time working at Rockwell Collins, and they are perfect for certain things like the interiors of starships from Star Wars, and when they run out I won't be able to replace them.
