Okay. I'm still ticked off that Region 1 users don't get to have "The Face of the Enemy" in any of the BSG box sets. That sucks. Honestly, without it, it's not a "complete series." Plus, it gives us some insight into Gaeta's actions in the two-part mutiny story line. Without it, he just seems like a whiney punk with no excuse or reason behind his actions.

Seriously? That's messed up. I *really* want to get a good "complete" bluray set but I would really prefer for it to be truly "complete"... at least what was in the individual box sets.

They re-released it because they received so many complaints from people about the packaging of the old set. So much so, that they are offering to send the new packaging as a replacement for people who bought the old set.
Apparently, The Face of the Enemy webisodes aren't likely to see the light of day on DVD. What I've read is that in order to make them, Universal contracted with all the industry guilds, so that in order to release them on home video, they would have to make substantial payments to everyone.

If that's the case, that really sucks. I'm not even that big a fan of those particular webisodes but they are necessary to understand Gaeta's motivations and actions later in the series :unsure
Glad to hear they responded on the complaints regarding the packaging though. I've definitely come to the opinion that more standard packaging is better. I learned the hard way that all those special box set cases and special edition cases get tiresome to deal with.

That doesn't make any sense. I mean, I heard that other Regions, other than Region 1, were going to have it back when it was being released. I had also heard that part, or at least the main, reason why it wasn't included was because of the new writer's guild stipulations on webisodes.
Either way, it sucks that we are not getting "the complete series" without the webisodes.
