Commodore Norrington?

So, I've been talked into doing a Norrington costume for Comicon this year. Apparently people think I would make a good one. But I'd never the self described "ice cream" Naval outfit Jack Devenport wore in the first Priates movie. I'm doing the dirty, disgraced Norrington we see in POTC 2. Or "Scruffington" as the little girl on the internet like to refer to him.

His outwear isn't too hard to fathom as it is mostly a dirtied and weathered Naval uniform. His Captain's coat from POTC 1 and a pair of gray and black striped knew breeches. The usual frilly pirate shirt that got Jerry Seinfeld into trouble. He wears the common POTC swashbuckler boots in a dark brown. Check the limited net reference I found:

The hardest thing to see is his waistcoat. IT's some kind of brocade with a floral print. But hard to determine the colors. I've seen everything from a black background to a grey with multicolored floral patterns.

Anyone have any ideas or better screenshots? I can get my own but I am rebuilding my PC at the moment.

Sorry,
no pictures showing the pattern - but the inside of his coat. I'll keep my eyes open.

Yeah. Can't make out the waistcoat. The frock is easy. Blue wool with a dirtied white linen lining. Shouldn't be difficult to find either of those fabrics. The pattern probably exists within the pages of "The Cut of Men's Clothes." Great reference for period men's fashion.

Also. I bet Tobes can provide some info. I think he's a got some connections into the POTC films.
