Commander-X Alien Buster! Halloween Costume

Here's some pics of my son's Halloween Costume I just finished. My wife is sewing the rest of the costume.

He liked Ghostbusters but wanted something different for killing Aliens. The hose has 20 feet of lime green EL wire and flashing lights.

We entered the school fair Halloween Costume Contest this weekend. They didn’t have a Sci-Fi category this year so we entered the Most Original Category.

Commander-X got 2nd place. He got beat out by Mario. Hmmm, I think I’m missing something here!! I’ll let you decide for yourself but I don’t think Mario is in the same league as Commander-X.

There was a cartoon and game character category also which is where Mario should have been. Maybe his brother Luigi won that category!! :lol

That was definitely a crock of sh-alami. Mario is one small step above those costumes in a box you used to be able to get at the five and dime.
How is Mario original? Sonic the Hedgehog maybe, but Mario? :lol

The fix was obviously in. Little Paulie must have made a few calls. :cool

I disagree. That Mario costume is defiantly modified!

I mean look at how tight it is in the crotch area and those high waters. Poor kid's bits and pieces are going to hurt for weeks. :lol What is the tensile strength of a kids store bought costume anyway?
