Cobra Snow Serpent......Need Help Please

Thinking about maybe getting a flight suit and dyeing it a light gray... I dont want to go with any heavy cold weather gear, living here in Florida that could be dangerous...lol

Be careful with flight suits, I tried bleaching the colour out of a flight suit for my boba fett suit a few years ago and it ended badly. Genuine flight suits are chemical treated to make them flame proof which makes changing the colour a royal pain in the ass.

Last time I dyed one it was a Rothco ,took the dye pretty well... yeah the Tru-Spec ones are a nightmare to mod color wise

tank helmet came in today, sadly it isn't white like in the ebay auction but a light brown, should be able to bleach it out and re-dye gray. I also picked up a Mylec goalie mask that I'm going to try and mod with Worbla.....

finally an update.... work has been crazy lately

Ok so I took the Mylec hockey mask and backed the holes in the lower part with stryene then filled it in with bondo. Once smoothed I covered it with worbla. I also made the eye part with a little foam and worbla then Plasticdipped the whole mask. The tank helmet was a light green color when I got it so I had to bleach it out. Here's where it is as of right now. Just a bit of fine tuning then on to the rest of the suit.

I've only seen one Snow Serpent costume and it was literally like 2002 at a con in Ohio, so haven't seen any around since, myself. Great choice for a costume!
