When I used to collect Sterlings I looked at doing the same thing

I found that in the US, it's the receiver that is the licensed part and not the working parts, that's why you can get a parts kit with the bolt, barrel and trigger unit intact but the receiver is cut up. Putting the parts into a new tube turns it back into a firearm and if caught could lead to prison time :eek

I've closed this as I'm not taking any more for the preorder since I'm taking receipt of the finished tubes tomorrow from the machine shop.

This thread was purely for the preorder of the tubes, the full kits are handled separately.

I primarily do the kits on that website, because handling multiple lists on multiple sites for one run is confusing and can only get me into trouble with customers and missed orders. So I take it on a case by case basis. In your case, you are on the list

The time line right now is run 3 in the start of Jan, followed by a new run in Feb, and then hopefully afterwards I will be able to do the kits on demand because I have caught up with the backlog of people interested. Which will make offering them in multiple places much easier.
