Thanks for the info and details, KAR. I've always been interested in obtaining replica's of Clint's Peacemaker from GBU, but have never really been 100% sure what it was exactly. Do you think you could point me in the right direction?

And the parts Tuco puts together couldn't possibly form a working pistol.

Tuco actually put together two Navy revolvers ( repros) so it was possible as they are locked only with a wedge..I have an old ASM version ..it looks like he uses different models as he looks through a few, but uses only the 51s ..it does flick between cap lock and cartridge con during the movie , but that's just bad continuity..Angel eyes starts out with a Navy, but switches to a Remington later ..

The grip snakes came from a gun engraver in Washington. They are super expensive and cost much more than the gun itself!

The hardest part about the hat is an accurate hat band, which if you search hard enough you can find, for around $65. Gasp.

Examples of whose you consider good? I've hunted a ton and found only one hat band that matches what's seen on screen. I bought one and it's fantastic! ($30 USD)
