Classic Hulkbuster Pep files! ALL FILES AVAILABLE!

Its the weekend again, which means hulk buster progress!

I did some extra detailing on the hands to see if I liked it. Added black around the seems. It makes them look more mechanical/metal in my opinion, and I think I like it and will probably do it to the rest.

And here is a (mostly) finished top! Still need electronics of course, and nothing is actually attached, I'm just holding it, so still work to be done there.
Again, the chest just looks too small, I'm probably going to have to re make it but... I have to get everything else done first.

Dude, it looks amazing))) about painting you are 100% right. and its will be better, if you will make shadows by the airbrush))

I'm sorry about the terrible quality of picture, but, I finished the build process. All done! nothing connected yet and I can't walk in it yet but, it looks cool! I'm quite excited about it. Now to glue and paint it all :)

Fun weekend update. I've been mostly working on padding the inside so that it fits well, and finishing up the paint. Making it wearable has been... interesting.

Here, you can see my trusty assistant Dr. Pepper holding down the fort :)

Also, as a birthday present, my fiance bought me mannequins! I must say... unpacking body parts may have been the creepiest thing I've ever done. But, here's a look at the legs all painted up!

Picture.jpg

I'm really sorry they are sideways. I honestly don't know why but I can't get them to change rotation.

It is indeed. I found a specific paint I really like, it gives almost a plasti dip feel to it when it's done but it doesn't come off like plasti dip does. Very pleased with it. And thanks!

Happy birthday to you,Meg ! :popcorn

Thanks!!

Ok, so, the legs are are now walk-able, but the shoes aren't yet. But, I couldn't resist trying it all on. It's definitely official, the chest is TOO SMALL. I don't know why, but I'm definitely going to have to remake it.

Also, I got the electronics in the mail, but having trouble getting the camera/glasses system working. Both the connectors I got were female ><. I got the correct connectors today and they are charging up now. I'll let you know how well they work.

Again, sorry it's sideways :/

I downloaded the files to my computer from 4share.com. Unfortunately they are not pepakura files, they show up as .exe files that do not open in pep.
anyone else have this issue? Can someone email me the .pdo files directly? I teach high school and have four costume designs in my class: Master Chief, Ironman Mark 6, Lego Batman and Emmett from the lego movie. I want to complete either a Ultron Prime or Hulkbuster for this years homecoming week. (we have a costume day).

Thanks

read the manual, i just downloaded few files - everything working.

It's been several weeks since I was able to work on it but I just finished the chest piece again. After re-sizing it again, it was definitely wrong. Not sure what I did but, it was wrong lol. Still needs to be finished and such but, here it is so far. Much more appropriate size :)

Weekend update. One month and counting until GMX and very excited now :) I got a LOT done on everything this weekend. I worked on the helmet, the feet, and the new chest. I reinforced and wired up the helmet. Here's some pictures of that:

I cut up one of the push lights for the eyes to defuse the light a bit.

soldering.jpg

Soldering everything up. Luckily I have a talented fiance to do this part for me :)

20150927_150927.jpg

Mounting the wires and batter pack on the inside of the helmet. This worked very well.

20150927_144033.jpg

End result of the helmet, looks so good!

The chest isn't complete but I couldn't help myself. Sorry for it being sidways :/

glueing the shoes. Here you can see my slits :)

Couldn't help but trying it on. I love it so far! The new chest looks great. The shoulders still aren't attached which is pretty obvious but once I paint the chest, I will connect all the pieces. It's really getting there.

Just a cool pic for fun :) :) The only thing is, I look really knobby kneed. What's up with that? Any advice on how to not look like that?
Thanks for looking!

Ayaya))) thats fantastic):thumbsup
about knees - u need make a frame for it. it is big detail, so it can't stand straight. need a support. i think so. :unsure

I suspect the knees look like that because they're so much closer together than the feet. You may have to consciously pose with them further apart (e.g. stand with one leg either turned outward or stepped forward and slightly bent or something, like in your second to last pic). Do a couple of test poses (and get your fiance to take pics) to see if there's a pose you like the look of and make sure to strike that pose when people ask for a pic (and they will, because this is looking spectacular!).

I can't wait to see it finished! :)
