Clan Series #7: Saesee Tiin

I have been getting requests on this hilt to make it compatible with the clan series. Since the Arenakin design is not my property I had to make this version very different. To be honest in order to make it compatible with the rest of the clans It had to be different so this worked out well. The design itself is based on this prop

Im sorry I clicked the post button too soon.

I did a bunch of changes to the design in liu of better accuracy, mostly on the emitter choke section. My prior model (left side) had rounded features whereas this one has the correct shape. The flutes are more rounded in the prop as well not squared.

The construction itself is not made of more parts, similarly to the Ki Adi Mundi so you can use the parts for customization.

So basicaly you have a switch, pommel, grip and emitter sections like my other clans. Also I made the blade socket be 7/8" or 22.2mm.

I also redesigned the button because the prior design was hard to push, crooked and got stuck sometimes. This should be much more stable.

Its not 100% complete yet and this will probably be out till the end of the year but just wanted to show that I have been working on this too.

I will be adding a static endcap for the emitter, however I am not sure if this looks like the tradicional clans or could it be more like the Obiwan geonosis? Does anyone know?

I am adding an extra pommel cap with no holes to match the Clonewars version

I will also make a clean non anodized version for DIY... For those who would like to weather it. Button and covertec will sill be anodize just the hilt will not have the black anodizing.

I like the simplicity of this hilt.

Not sure if this is the level of detail you want to further differentiate it from the other one you helped with, but the last grip gap has an extra step in it.

Glad I didn’t pull the trigger on the current Arenakin. Loving the changes. Will this be available on your site? Or will it mainly be on Saberbay?

yes. Series 1 is almost done and will arrive around the 20th. Series 2 in August, series 3 in October and so on.
