Christies sued for $7mil over "fake" Trek props

If I am spending $6K on a poker visor it have better been worn and signed by both Gene and Brent!!!!!!

And be made out of gold!

What a "Maroon!"

I'm still scratching my head about why Christie's would list the item for $6k to begin with? That is misleading and makes the item seem extremely valuable.

One question: was it always $6k? If it was $6k before they found out that it wasn't screen-used, shouldn't they have lowered the price when they ammended the auction to "made for?"

I love this headline... It's perfect!

"Appeals court phasers Star Trek fanatic's auction lawsuit vs. Christie's over Data uniform"

Question now is "Did they use a type 1 or type 2 phaser on that"?
