Trying to get myself some Flying Cross pants but it's harder than it seems. Galls won't accept a non-US address or a PO Box for delivery and the other dozen or so websites shown as Flying Cross Authorised sellers either don't list flying Cross on their inventory, or don't list ANY inventory as they assume you'll be coming in in person to buy them. I'd have thought this would be a simple step knowing the actual brand!

I picked up the expansion watchband - it works, but it takes some serious wrestling. I had to remove the bands end springs and crimp the spring bars slightly to get everything to click together. But once it was, it definitely matches the screengrab!

Just got mine in today, you’re not wrong! It was an absolute pain to get together, I couldn’t get it to fit until I took the springs out like you mentioned. The curved band ends are now wedged in the watch body and don’t really rotate at all but it seems to sit at the right angle and looks spot on. Now to work on identifying the season 3 boots!

I'm wondering if the boots are the same as season 2, just a bit weathered?

I’m not sure, I don’t think they’re the 8 inch Red Wings from the last two seasons. You get a good look toward the beginning of episode 4 when they’re sitting on the railing at the cabin. They’re darker and the stitching on the heel and sides are different. Later in the episode you get a look at the sole and they don’t look like any of the red wing soles or the replacement soles from season 2, they’re flat with very subtle treads

The reason I wonder is the redwings in season 2 take a beating, so from a prop point of view, I could see the production keeping that vintage "beat up" look going, like they've seen a lot in the previous 2 years? Just a thought.

It’s definitely possible, I’m going to try to get a better look. I do know the sole is completely different so maybe the boot is the same but just weathered and with the soles replaced. But then again maybe they replaced the boots completely, just like the watch, to show the passage of time between seasons. It seems like they changed a bunch of small things; the watch, the sunglasses (they don’t curl behind the ear), and at least the boot sole if not the whole boot

No luck with the boots so far, but I may have found a close match to the belt Hopper wears with the Hawaiian style shirt. At first I assumed it was leather but in this picture the way is folds behind itself looks more like fabric

If it is fabric this is pretty good match. Probably not the exact belt used but close enough

Definitely! They're going with the Magnum PI look, and that was famously the belt that Magnum wore more often than not. I picked up a gold buckle with khaki web belt from the local Army Surplus, so at least this part is an easy and inexpensive find!

I wear one of those belts almost every day at work, I didn't know it was a Magnum thing. That's pretty cool. I need to snag a new one with the gold buckle and not cut it short. Thanks for the picture! The quest for the shirt continues.

Where are you located? Perhaps you can have the pants shipped to a US-based RPF member (such as myself) who can ship them to you. As long as it's clear that my responsibility ends once they're in the post. (Of course I would follow your directions carefully.)

I had to talk the salesperson through their own website to lead them to the pants... she couldn't find them. They were sort of buried.

Yes those are widely available at least here in the USA, but be warned that there are cheap ones that don't function properly: the roller doesn't engage the fabric well enough, and the belt slips while you're wearing it. Do the pull test before you buy, or get a genuine US military buckle.

(The webbing belt is detachable, and can be purchased separately.)

Any wig recommendations for those of us whose hair has left them? I'm searching all over for something affordable, but it's pretty slim pickings.

I know the best method would be to tailor the hairline of a lace wig, but a lot of those are a punch in the wallet, and most of the lacefronts I'm seeing don't have enough lace to work with to get those huge temples that Harbour has.
