Chewbacca costume build

Toes are all but done - just need a touch up tomorrow, then pics with them affixed to the SteppinUp bucket stilts. They will be put on with snaps and elastic so I can remove them safely for transport in my locker.

I'm searching for the mesh fabric for the body, which is better cotton of nylon? I think nylon would sag, but have been told cotton would. What did you use?

So have you figured out a running total yet? Or are you not done yet? Jw

Awesome costume btw!!

Thanks love!
Costing attached as a PDF as at May 2015.

Hey Slapper,
I am also from Sydney and I'm interested in starting a Wookie build, I was wondering where you found the mesh pants and shirt,
Kind Regards

D'oh!! Sorry aussiewookie - it's been far too long since I've been in here.

The mesh came by the metre from Haverford Pty Ltd (Revesby, Sydney) and I had a seamstress make up the pants and shirt. Best material out there - absolutely will not tear.

I think I bought 15 metres.

Last I checked, the base fabric is a two piece base mesh for a sniper's Ghillie suit.
