Chemrail Rifle Elysium. One more chance!!

With such an amount of money you could build the actual weapon I think XD It´s a shame the production of the "replicas" was cancelled..

Unless that's newly marked down, that's been up there since November.

...And they are great props. Great design, great execution, and some of the heroes had lights and airsoft or similar guts for simulated muzzle flashes. I'd love to have any of those; the ChemRail, the Crowe rifle, the Crowe MERG Railgun, the pistols, the tasers, the missile launcher, the AK-47, the air-bursting ammo...

Weta´s replica you mean? or the one on Propstore? Propstore has a very large offer of props and are constantly adding new things. Again, it´s a shame they are so expensive. But I suppose it´s the price for having a piece of the wonderful world of our favourite films, I guess XD

TFS with us Josu87. Seems that a lot of those pieces on that ChemRail were 3-D printed. Yes, shame that Weta didn't produce the gun for fan, but I believe that the original price was less than appealing...but, in the end, better than $ 7995;)

TFS, what´s that short for? Sorry....:facepalm I haven´t seen any 3d printed Chemrail, how is the quality? 3d printed props usually have that awful wooden-like grain. The price on the website was $400 or $500, right? wasn´t it definitive? Anyway, it will always belong to the legendary realm of props I never owned XD

"Thanks for sharing."

I suspect they may have been milled for the masters. Some people, myself included, were disappointed to see the milling marks / lines on the 'prototype' that Weta published when they proposed selling replicas.

Here are their photos of the 'replica.'

Sorry, I misread and understood there were 3d printed replicas by fans. I cannot see the milling marks on this replicas, where are they? By the way, is there any kind of blueprints for 3D-printing available?

They're most noticeable inside the "TST" on the magazine well, but you can see the fine striations elsewhere on the gun. Photos from production show at least one 'hero' gun was smoother.

Oh yes, I can see now. The gun in the picture is sooo smooth and perfectly finished. Even the silver vents on both sides, just behind the barrel, look more accurate.
