Charlie pushed Chuck a little too far! 2 1/2 Men canceled mid-season

I laughed. It is a funny show, from the few re-runs I have seen, but he needed to know his behavior was getting out of hand.

Talk about a very unpredictable guy. I love it. He is such a mess. Hopefully someday he will get it sorted out before it's too late.

The Anti-Defamation League is condemning his behavior towards the show's producer/creator and the media is already comparing it to Mel Gibson's drunken anti-Semitic ranting.

The show isn't canceled, just the rest of this season.

"The network and TV production company announced Thursday that they had pulled the plug on television's top-rated comedy, "Two and a Half Men," which was scheduled to restart production on Monday."

It sure sounds to me like it was canceled.

How long do you think it will be before some one starts using the phase "He / She just pulled a Charlie Sheen", or "Don't pull a Charlie Sheen"???

I can't believe he gets a million an episode. I just read that. Another statistic I read this week is that 90% of the American populace makes less than $31,244 a year. That kind of makes his salary seem a bit obscene.

As with all things, it just points to completely
FUBAR this Country is...

The real victims here are all the people that are now out of a job because Charlie couldn't keep his crap together. Probably a couple hundred people on that show that are now looking for work.

As for his salary, if that money wasn't going to him, it would just be going to someone else. It's his face, recognition value, brand, acting (or whatever) that brings viewers to the TV, and that's what advertisers pay the big bucks for. He's taking home a small percentage of the HUGE revenue that is generated by that show for the network. It may suck, but it's not unfair. If anything, he deserves it for bringing in so much revenue for the network.

If they want to pay him $1 million an episode then that's fine with me, its their money.
Kelsey Grammar made close to $2 million an episode for Frasier I believe.

Sheen is self-destructing so now they're not paying him anymore....simple as!

I'm with Matt, its the people who are now out of work because of him that concern me.

Hes just another overglorified, silver spoon up his keester , dooshnugget spawn of another celeb. He's a little diffrent now because he just proved to the world hes mentally unstable as well. Want to meet a better man?
Just open your phonebook and blindly point at a name. There he is.

I agree with you all but you are missing the real point here.

They would have been out of work if Sheen was NOT a part of the show from the begining. People didn't tune in because this show was a masterpiece that just happened to have Sheen in it.

They tuned in because of all the bad press Sheen had been getting.

The writing and timing of that show is horrible other than the lines delivered by Sheen. And I am not even a fan of him other than the hot shots movies and men at work.

But the only REALLY funny lines came from him and the fact that his character was pretty much a pompas womanizing A-hole... it came off as VERY believable! LOL!!!

Just IMHO. I think the show was bad all around. I will NOT lose sleep from it being canceled. :p
