Here are a couple of shots of the RSAP decal on Chappie.

Also, also, also; gun guys, please help me out on the IMFDb page for Chappie. See the 'talk' page. We have some anomalous guns, which I will soon cover here as well.

Here is our last mystery gun of the night: Deon's revolver. Looks like a top-break model to me, perhaps an Enfield or Webley?

the first pistol looks like the "standard" beretta 93f with extended mag, custom rear sight? and muzzle break. the rifle looks like a 50cal, 1/4 twist short action bolt, shorter barrel, folding stock and fully adjustable bipod. and I mean "fully" adjustable. looks like you can extend/retract it. im digging the rifle!!

Here's an article on the shooting in SA:

http://variety.com/2015/film/spotli...urg-in-the-spotlight-with-chappie-1201445717/

Worth noting is that they were able to shoot inside Denel itself, which probably stands in for Tetravaal. And hence the Denel & Neopup crew lanyards and the use of the weapon itself.

Made some more graphics for y'all, which I will post as soon as I get home. Going to the movies this Sunday, to see you-know-what.

Mysteriously, and aggravatingly, there is no sign of any Chappie material on Weta's website. Earlier, I thought there might be an NDA situation, but the film is out now, and the making of book is available from Amazon. I can't imagine why Weta's not selling it as well. AFAIK, they sold the D9 & Elysium books.

These aren't as pretty as some of the other fan-made posters, but I didn't have a lot of time.

These are US letter sized (8.5" x 11"). These are both RGB files; printed colors may vary.

One is obviously inspired by Shepard Fairy's Obama poster. The other is my attempt at an ad of some sort (using the same art – shh!).

Very, very brief overview of how Chappie (the robot) was designed: http://www.ew.com/article/2015/03/0...f&hootPostID=ff3a225f413756a123c330e7a94495c6

A very general piece on how Chappie (the robot) was executed, practically and CG: http://news.dice.com/2015/03/06/cha...-render-a-robot/?CMPID=AF_SD_UP_JS_AV_OG_DNA_ It also gives us this tidbit: "...the design of the titular robot involved teams at Image Engine, which handled visual effects, and WETA Workshop, tasked with the physical-props side of the equation."

I wish I could tell you Image Engine (who did the CGI on Elysium) have a brilliant page about their work in Chappie (like they do for Elysium) but I can't. Maybe by monday, I hope... Same goes for you, Weta! I expect full write-ups!

Just saw the movie. There is a prominent rubber chicken prop involved which I believe I found here. I'll try to find some reference pics.

Edit: I grabbed some reference pics of the stickers and data plates from the poster.http://imgur.com/a/CcVfm

Thanks for those. I had a cropped image from a poster, but it wasn't as high-res.
