My daughter wanted us to be stormtrooper for Halloween so I decided to make an inexpensive armour set with some left over cardboard. Using hot glue and looking at pictures I crafted the suit.
I then took some silicone and hot glue and filled any gaps. And used rock guard spray paint to give the cardboard armour a coating then painted with a semi gloss acrylic house paint.
After using some hot glue and Velcro and purchasing a stormtrooper black series helmet it turned out alright.
I just used a black surfing rash guard and some black running leggings underneath with some dollar store black gloves then used some black paint to age/ rough up the outfit and had a decent costume.
I just used some model paint to paint some rubies Star Wars blasters and strapped some flashlights to them for trick or treating
I knew that I wouldn't be able to wear the helmet all night especially with little kids running around. You can't see anything below your nose in those helmets. So instead of tripping over kids all night, I made a lightsaber scar on my face.
