Doesn’t mean free from consequences. Yeah a person can say whatever they want and suffer the consequences. A lot of companies will have clauses in contracts.

Most big corporations will settle rather than go to trial because it’s less expensive for them…even if they feel they’re in the right.

Lawyers typically charge hourly so a short settlement is cheaper than a long drawn out trial.

This is 100% it most of the time. Someone mentioned that Disney lawyers are in house. But it’s still costing them money and time which this been dragging for years already. Better to write it off and just move on. Unfortunately her side will claim victory. When it’s really a loss. Her acting is horrendous. So I don’t see Disney utilizing her much
