Mickey's Trick or Treat party 2010 will be hosted inside Disneyland this year. The events will be held every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday night in October. Pricing has not yet been released, but I have to expect the Disneyland event will be offered at a premium over the DCA version. No word if the DLR will finally get a Halloween parade for their event.

YES YES YES!!! Finally!!!!!! We've gone the last 3 years and finally I can get Ghostbuster shots in/near Haunted mansion!!!

This is gonna be awesome!!!

errr... where did you get this info? Cause on Disney's page it only says this:

On select nights in October, go trick-or-treating in the ultimate Disney neighborhood at Mickey's Trick-or-Treat Party at Disney's California Adventure® Park — ride attractions, collect candy, enjoy live music, play games and more! (Separate admission required)

I also believe that Disney does not allow adults to attend in costume, at least I seem to recall having read that before.

except on these special days in october.... The news was posted on a Fan Site - Mouse Planet

But I am guessing it is true since there will be major construction going on in DCA this year to make ready for Cars Land.

Yea, charles Maybe you should repost this Utinni is right - Star Wars people can go to Star Tours now, Ghostbusters to Haunted Mansion - this is H U G E widespread news.

We can have an RPF gathering (on each day depending on who can make it)

World Of Color is going to be running all summer and fall. Three shows a night so they are going to need to move the Trick Or Treat to Disneyland!

If that's true, then it is big news (of course, maybe not here in WDW Florida)...we petition every year to be able to costume as Mandalorian Mercs during Star Wars Weekends, but are resoundingly re-buffed each time (something about WDW 'costume' policy, and reports/rumors of the 'leverage' of the 501st)....

The Disneyland AP website text has now changed. It no longer states to enjoy MTOT at Disney's California Adventure!!!!

"On select nights in October, go trick-or-treating in the ultimate Disney neighborhood at Mickey's Trick-or-Treat Party — ride attractions, collect candy, enjoy live music, play games and more! (Separate admission required)"

We just need those dates!!!

What do you all say to 3 shillings and we forget CA, change the plans, and make way over to Disneyworld in Florida where I will be the second week of September!! :D

Just for a general idea, heres some info on the FL events, since it sounds almost the same: adults are allowed in costume as long as they are public-friendly, you have to be careful about other guests taking pictures ( let them know you don't work for the park ), and it's not recommended that you act the character you're dressed as. The ladies in the c.c forums have more advice on that matter as some regularly attend. It's $60 ($54 in advance)/person/night and it's always held in the Magic Kingdom park there from 7-midnight for ticket holders only. I thought it would've been the same in CA? Then again, I did look into visiting the CA park just to maybe swing a couple meet ups but was pretty shocked at how much smaller it is ( park-wise and on-resort lodging options :( ).

The nights in Orlando run on selected days from Sept 14 - November 1. Oct 28 is $60 and the 29 and 30 are $65...

Anyways...can we make this thread a general Disney Halloween meetup so I can lure in some Floridians? >D ( I know, UM, I'm always hijacking. IM SORRY!!! )
