Captain Carter - costume jacket build help

Hey everyone. LONG time lurker and my first post.

I'm working on a Captain Carter build for my wife. I have everything except the soft goods top\jacket\vest. Just looking for ideas or a place to start. I don't usually care for the online full costumes. I'm fine modding a jacket but not a great from scratch sewer.

Any ideas or suggestions? I poked around and couldn't easily find a thread already on one.

Excellent Leather in Pakistan make a superb jacket, leather or fabric, as needed, and are very, very good at listening to customers and nailing the screen seen versions they've made...They're also very fair in price, so if you're okay buying, over making? I'd suggest sending them a message or Facebook DM and asking!
