This is a custom made all aluminum wall mount for your round shield collectible. Would work great with Captain America shields, Wonder Woman Shields, and others.
It will fit a shield approximately 24-26” in diameter. The size is somewhat flexible due to the magnet mechanism used on the top clasp— it can slide up or down to fit your particular shield. I don’t make any guarantees for size; the shield shown is 24” in diameter.
This is made using 1/8” thick aluminum. The joints are held together with Chicago screws and the clasps are lined on the inside with foam to protect the finish of the shield.
This will hold up to roughly 10 pounds, so long as it is properly stud-mounted. The magnet used on the top clasp is a strong neodymium magnet, which has excellent hold strength, but it should not ever be put into a position where it is holding the weight of the shield. It is solely meant to prevent the shield from tipping forward when wall mounted.
The mount ships semi-disassembled to save money on shipping. To assemble it, you will simply need to put the Chicago screws through the pre-drilled holes.
