Can i repaint my suit plastidip over platicote?

Hey guys ive nearly finished my ironman build and although the paint job is ok its quite fragile its painted with plasticote from a spray can here in the uk and its carcked in some places now what im wondering is can i paint over the top of it with plastidip? to add more felx to it or will it react badly with the plasticote?

I'm pretty sure I've done this and it was ok, but I'd say try a small sample on a scrap of foam to be 100% sure.
