Can anyone Identify this helmet?

I am concidering purchasing and restoring this but I would like to know if anyone can identify it first and if it is even worth getting.

Errr... I have no clue what this is but the cheeks both have the same curve. Unlike an original.

It isn't claiming that it is though? Maybe fan made for a presentation or opening of a store or promotion for a big theater?

Interesting that they claim it's from back in the OT days.

Don't buy it. At least that's my recommendation.

I don't know where they got that story from, but the same kind of helmet has been floating around the web for years and looks more like a reworked fiberglass copy of a $35 Don Post Standard helmet.

It has nothing to validate that insane price.

I would have to say NAY. Who knows though? Could be the original that they made the crappy DP from? I have NO idea.

I would say save up for a EFX ANH instead!

Or buy one out of the JY to fix up, they pop up all the time! TMG wasn't it you that had a couple of CA DP's for sale recently??? That woulda been great for her!

I would think you could buy one from someone here for a good price rather than their jacked up price on it. Why would they put that out there anyway without knowing anything about it .

No, not me. Wish I could afford them though... but alas... no money. I would definitely 100% recommend those over this one any day. They still may be available.

I hear ya! Yeah I've always wanted to try my hand at modding one of those up! Alas I am jobless again... trying to get a new buisness off the ground. (story of my life!)

Jenni, here are the buckets we are talking about. Made from the cheaper rubbery plastic, but can be heated and bent into better shape, painted up into an AWESOME display! Cast off an ESB if I recall corectly? Not 100% accurate but shape and size wise prob about 90%?
