Camberwick Green and Trumpton

I'm not totally convinced ted should be learning to fly Mr Dagenham's helicopter. That said, without him in the driving seat, the cab is so lightweight, it tilts backwards - not helped by the fact the rotor blades have to be modified to be longer than the ones supplied with the "Helicopter with Active Pilot" model.

Very good. Yep, I put a hefty weight in the cab of mine (I think it was a bit of transformer core!). Well done at finding the helicopter.

Thank you, I spotted the helicopter at a good price last year and snapped it up. Aha, yes a laminated transformer core would be a good source of weighty ballast.

My latest creation. It's an attempt at one of the many variants or Mr. Carraway/Chippy Minton's van that either did or didn't have the front number plate and either did or didn't have the chrome headlight shades. From what I could see, it only ever seemed to have a side light on the driver's side - a tad odd. Like all good old runners, this bodywork is about 5% filler!

On a side note, I've just realised that it would appear that the Heavy Duty Tractor shares the same wheels with the Six Wheel Truck, I suppose that's not overly surprising as they were both manufactured by Rosedale. Given that the tractor rear wheels are around 116mm in diameter, the six wheeler really is large.

Ooh - this looks familiar. A bit rich for me though for the condition it's in.
Sadly it looks like its been left in bright sunshine for years, the original unfaded red is visible on the underside. Unless you're an expert sign writer I think this one isn't worth bothering with as there is a lot of detail to restore. I bought mine, on the same website, from a chap in the USA last year and it was around half the price (albeit missing the driver and a three week wait for the delivery). If you can, like KevinD, I suggest you wait for another to come up, they are not hugely rare.

Yep, I've made the same street!
The other two houses still have the decorators in so they might be a week or two away from being completed. I do seem to be playing catch up - you've certainly created a large number of the characters and vehicles, not to mention the non-Camberwick related models too. I'm in awe of your achievements.
