Cad Bane Season 2

I'm sort of new to mask making.
I'm having a blast at cad bane.
This is my second sculpt of him, 3 if you count the one I dropped.

Any tips on sculpting media would be cool. I thought I liked super sculpy, but I've changed my mind.

This one has working eyes and mouth. 15 coats of pure rubber latex.

Looks cool so far!

Sculpey is great for some media, smaller things then a life sized sculpt. Only because of it's cost really. I've sculpted heads in 1/6th scale with a mix of Super Sculpey and Sculpey III for years, and am starting to try Super Sculpey and Sculpey firm now for some 1/6th and 1/4 scale heads. But for larger items, such as 1:1 I like Wed clay. Easy to work with getting your shapes built up quick due to it's softness, but if left to set for a little while becomes a great consistency for detail.

Thank you. A quick google told me that wed clay is commonly used in special effects and movie magic.
I'll have to purchase a sample and give it a shot.

Still got to finish the paint, but here's what I got so far

The (removable) eyes are attached at the corners by rubber buttons. Felt strips allow the eyelids to move and give character.

Here, the buttons are curing...

looks great , seems there's a Bane sculpture around every corner these days , but your looks great for someone that's not in the business or that does it all the time. Seems the hat screws them all up , but yours looks good

Thank you all for the encouragement.

I am new to pouring latex, but I am a long time prop and costume builder. I very seldom build anything that is not star wars though.
Some of you know me as TK4205 of the 501st Legion.
